Nomination Period Opens for Elevation Awards

On May 31, the nomination period for Technology Publishing Co.’s sixth annual Elevation Awards officially opened. Carried out in partnership with the Commercial Painting Industry Association, the honors program recognizes projects ranging from residential exteriors and commercial renovations to floor coatings and wall coverings throughout the commercial coatings industry.

This year, participants will see a few changes in both eligibility and categories for the commercial painting competition.

“From the competition’s inaugural year to where we are now, the Elevation Awards have witnessed a collection of competitive nominations and projects,” said Destiny Johnson, Editor-in-Chief of Commercial Painting. “To keep the momentum going, we at TPC and the CPIA felt it was time to expand and critique the program to increase competition, showcase painter’s hard work and raise the bar for industry excellence.”

This year, eligible projects must be completed between Jan. 1, 2021, and July 15, 2022. The deadline to submit your nomination(s) is July 15. Painting contractors, facility owners, architects, interior designers, decorative artisans, manufacturers and suppliers are all invited to submit.

Winners of the 2022 Elevation Awards will be announced during an awards ceremony at the CPIA Leadership Conference and will be featured in the winter issue of Commercial Painting.
