Paint and coatings manufacturer Benjamin Moore recently revealed its 2023 Color of the Year and Color Trends collection.
“People are ready to bring color back into the home, taking a step outside their color comfort zones,” said Andrea Magno, Color Marketing & Development Director at Benjamin Moore. “Raspberry Blush 2008-30 and the Color Trends 2023 palette empower the use of statement colors that deliver delight and personality, while transforming rooms for incredible results.”
Described as a vivacious shade of coral tinged with pink, Benjamin Moore says that Raspberry Blush 2008-30 “enlivens the senses with an electric optimism.” Selected for its charismatic properties, the shade reportedly flows through and connects hues found in the company’s 2023 Color Trends collection with ease.
“This unapologetic shade of red-orange had us thinking: bold, bolder, boldest,” wrote the coatings manufacturer. “Inspired by an artist’s desire to communicate through color, shape, and sound, Color Trends 2023 was built to envelop you in vivacious color.”
To commemorate the 2023 selection, Benjamin Moore partnered with electro-funk duo Chromeo to celebrate the positive, upbeat color palette. The collection of tunes aim to highlight how color can be utilized for self-expression, much like in music.
Benjamin Moore also suggested several options for incorporating Raspberry Blush in the home in its announcement. For designers, painters and DIYers alike, the company outlined various options for updating a dining room’s walls, creating a bold living room, or using the hue to create a pop of color in a powder room or office space.
As for the company’s 2023 trending color collection, Benjamin Moore noted that the 2023 palette was selected for its distinct presence and personality. Made up of eight hues, the trend palette is designed to inspire creativity and pushes for users to push beyond traditional designs to experience exceptional colors and individualism.
